Liam Dixon graduated from the University of Illinois in 1999 and DePaul Law School in 1994.  He is the sole owner of the Law Office of Liam Dixon, LLC. His practice is concentrated in criminal defense and DUI defense.  He has been representing clients charged with criminal offenses and DUI’s his entire career.

Mr. Dixon has authored multiple articles regarding search and seizure, DUI, marijuana DUI’s and other criminal offenses.  He was selected to author an Amicus brief for the Illinois Bar Association regarding a search of a passengers belongings in an automobile.  People v. James.  (link to articles)

Mr. Dixon is a lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Illinois Bar Association (member of the criminal and traffic sections), Kane County Bar Association (former Chair of the criminal section), DuPage Bar Association (criminal defense section) and former Chair of the Elgin Bar Association.   He is also a member of NCDD for DUI defense lawyers and certified in the performance of Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.   He has lectured other attorneys through these associations.

Liam was one of the first attorneys, in the county, certified to do death penalty cases and tried a double jury capital case.

He has represented officers, other attorneys and judges in the past, and gets referrals from them as well.
